The latest in digital instore display technology will be reaching New Zealand’s retailers in time for Summer 2016.
The New Zealand technology company TranSign Media is offering the latest in transparent LCD displays for digital
signage display, producing custom-made transparent displays and the digital content that plays on them.
The transparent LCD screen enables customers to view products through the screen, while at the same time, see
dynamic high definition content on the screen, which engages and inspires purchase decisions.
This technology gives brands the power to tell a story and showcase products in the same space. They are currently
developing a new fridge door for convenience stores and supermarkets which will allow brands to store chilled
products and display dynamic digital content at the same time.
The transparent displays can range in size from 10 to 84 inches and can be designed with touch-screen capability,
making the technology extremely versatile.
The introduction of touch-screen activation is the next step. This improves the experience by allowing customers to
find out additional product information, at the touch of a screen, just like they would on their tablet at home.
